You will understand how to get a continuous grain around the outside of a box. Each student will make a small wooden box with a sliding lid to take home.
Originally from Germany, Yana Frank has lived in Minneapolis for almost 30 years. After studying architecture, she apprenticed in a wood shop in order to learn the practical aspects of furniture making. After years of working as a craftsperson, she recently started her own business combining her woodworking skills with her passion for design. She loves teaching how to use the woodshop in a safe way in order to empower people to start creating beautiful pieces out of wood.
